This sterling silver pendant features a beautiful purple shell disc, with natural iridescent tones and delicate patterns that echo the rich colours of the sea at twilight. Inspired by Mags MacLaren’s photo art print “Shades of Deep Purple”, created from a photograph taken at Ettrick Bay on the Isle of Bute, the pendant captures the deep purples, soft pinks and shimmering light of the coastal landscape.

Purple shell is often associated with calm, intuition, creativity and spiritual balance. Its natural iridescence makes each piece unique, bringing a subtle connection to the sea and the ever-changing colours of the Scottish coast.
